I’m a 30-something online entrepreneur who went from $40,000 in credit card debt to living a life people only dream of. As a young boy, it was my dream to become a millionaire by the age of 30, and by my 30th birthday, I had grossed my first million dollars online.
I now coach tens of thousands of people on how to earn money from home and use the internet to live financially free lives.
My membership sites round out some of the top online marketing training in the industry and I’ve used these sites to instruct and mentor my students to live freer lives, financially and mentally.
“Being financially free is more than just earning more money. It’s about living every day to the fullest and having the freedom to live passionate, purposeful lives which leads to true fulfillment and happiness.”
My Journey to Internet Success…
My desire to work for myself, rather than someone else, began when I took my first job out of college. Like most people, I decided to get a regular job after I graduated, and start making money.
I majored in Literature in college and ironically knew nothing about computers or the internet. I still didn’t know what I wanted to do after I graduated even though the internet “wowed” me and I was eager to learn more about it.
A friend of mine hooked me up with a job at Overture, an online search engine. It happened to be a very EXCITING time in the internet era as Overture was pioneering a revolutionary advertising model known as pay-per-click (PPC).
Because PPC was brand new, anyone could setup an Overture account and send traffic to affiliate offers. This was the “wild west” or golden age of PPC. You didn’t need a website and clicks were literally pennies.
I began doing this, making good money, and for the first time saw that perhaps I could work for myself and not someone else.
The thought of escaping my monotonous 9 to 5 job, regaining freedom over my own time, and becoming my own boss rather than following someone else’s orders became irresistible.
Thrilled with my results, I ended up leaving Overture after about 9 months once my side income working on the internet replaced my employee income.
But, things did not continue to get better as I expected. Unfortunately… they got worse. Much worse!
A few months later, things STOPPED working and my income was wiped out. It was a huge blow as I saw my dreams and lifestyle wash away. I started buying Internet marketing “how to” courses and sank thousands into trying to recover my income, falling $40k+ in debt.
It Was Time to Re-Focus
I went back to the corporate world (Expedia) but I kept my eye on the internet and spent my spare time trying to get my online business back up and running, but this time on much firmer ground.
I could see that other people had built very stable, profitable online businesses that allowed them to live the internet lifestyle, and I searched relentlessly for a blueprint on how to make this happen for myself.
It only takes a few simple decisions to alter the entire course of your life.
I eventually realized that to attain true freedom I needed to build websites that provided REAL VALUE to people by helping them solve their problems. I figured out how to launch these types of sites and totally automate them.
With this newfound understanding, I launched my first successful site in 2005 and have since launched over 300 successful niche sites.
In 2009, I began training and mentoring others, and realized this was where I wanted to focus more….teaching and guiding others to realize their full potential and goals.
“Don’t underestimate the power of “small” decisions and tasks. The seemingly mundane, goal-oriented steps you take every day can equate to larger-than-life outcomes that surpass your wildest dreams.”
Every minute I invested into my business took me one step closer to my goal, even if it was a small amount of time.
If I had someone to mentor me or provide guidance, I know that my journey would have been much shorter.
Now, I’m not going to say that I became a millionaire overnight. As you can see, my journey was riddled with obstacles to overcome.
But, I didn’t have a mentor like myself to lead and guide me on my journey.
It took me a few years before I reached my goals, and it was a rocky ride, full of ups and downs.
There were many times when I felt like giving up.
But I pressed forward and eventually things clicked into place.
Since then, my online business has grown each year as I’ve continued to test new strategies, push the boundaries of what is possible, and share my knowledge with others.
I’ve created and sold many different kinds of products online, including eBooks, software, membership websites, and physical products. I’ve created and run small niche websites and full-fledged ecommerce stores and I’ve worn the hat of both product vendor as well as product affiliate.
“I became a mentor because I didn’t want my students to have to go through what I did, and suffer without the guidance and care of someone who not only knows what they are going through but also how to get them from where they are now to where they want to be.”
To date, my company has generated millions of dollars in revenue across over 300 different “niche” markets online.
My membership sites have attracted tens of thousands of members and counting.
My philosophy is to make internet marketing as easy as possible for people to grasp and use to build solid, long-term, profitable work-from-home businesses. With that comes the fulfilment of more time, more freedom and ultimately, more happiness.
A mentor is a “wise advisor,” a trusted counselor or guide.
As a mentor, it is my job to LEAD and GUIDE you, and equip you with the right information and support. With the right knowledge and guidance, you can accomplish more than you ever thought possible.
My mission as a mentor is to clear your path to financial freedom by helping to remove any and all physical and mental obstructions you have to getting there.
To what do I attribute my success?
I love being a mentor and the more I help others, it seems the more successful I become. The Universe has an interesting way of working like that.
